We are John and Darlene Henderson from Cilliwack B.C. Canada. We will be arriving by cruise ship into Melbourne Australia for ( 2 - Days ) on Sunday December 11, 2022 from 8:00 A.M. to Monday December 12, 2022 departing at 5:00 P.M. Can you tell us the best way to get to your location, by train, bus, ect?????
We want to take the tour to get to Sovereign Hill and see your old heritage town. We want to go on Sunday December 11, 2022, and we will like to try to out to Sovereign Hill. Are you currently closed due to COVID, ect????? If so will you be opening up soon, or will you be open on the dates that we will be in Melbourne Australia ( December 11 Th and December 12 Th 2022 )??????????
We were thinking about coming on the first day we arrive on Sunday December 11, 2022. We could try to be at the train station as soon as we can get off the ship!!!
Do you have any day tours available on December 11, 2022 from Melbourne to Sovereign Hill? If so what is the price per person, and can you pick up at the cruise ship terminal, and drop off there?
If you do not do this tour, or group tours to Sovereign Hill, do you know of any other travel companies that do offer this tour?

Is there a lot of walking in the trip
My parents are 71- physically active - they walk a lot but not sure if the day evolves strenuous walking

There is a bit of walking on the Sovereign Hill day tour but its really just as much as you want to do. At Sovereign Hill you can walk around or sit down and enjoy the sights and sounds. I think this would be a good choice for an elderly couple as there is also a few hours each way in the coach with commentary from the driver.
