The Great Sights of Melbourne Combo allows you to experience three of the best tours of the area over three days – for an absolutely unbeatable price. You will see the stunning Great Ocean Road, the gold mining towns of Ballarat and Sovereign Hill, as well as a fun adventure in the Blue Dandenongs on the Puffing Billy Steam Train. Couldn’t get any better, right? Wrong! This tour also includes a bonus half-day exploration of Melbourne City! 

The Great Ocean Road (Full-Day)
Departing from Melbourne, you will head out over the Yarra and witness the stunning views of the City as you begin your tour. You will pass Geelong, Corio Bay and Torquay – where the Great Ocean Road officially begins. As you travel along this amazing 300km scenic coastal road, you will see stunning craggy cliffs, vast sandy beaches and sparkling ocean. You will enjoy a delicious morning tea during this part of the tour, before stopping at Lorne and Apollo Bay, where you can get out, grab a bite to eat and stretch your legs on one of these town’s beautiful beaches.Next up is the amazing Otway National Park – a stunning lush rainforest. After spotting some of the inquisitive wildlife at Otway, you’ll be escorted in comfort to Port Campbell National Park – home to the Twelve Apostles, Razorback and Island Arch. These amazing monoliths are resplendent, as they stand tall out of the ocean’s breaking waves. This is a truly great spot for photo opportunities.

Sovereign Hill (Full-Day)
Step back in time to the 1850’s, when Victoria was at the height of its gold rush and Ballarat and Sovereign Hill were in the centre of the prosperity! Experience a thrilling time warp as you explore the amazing historical township of Sovereign Hill, with its 19th century architecture, gorgeous gardens, majestic churches and the interesting Eureka Stockade Discovery Centre. See beautiful Lake Wendouree, explore the Red Hill Gully diggings and ride a stagecoach down charming Main Street, before enjoying some old fashioned food and exploring the old-time stores in this amazingly recreated scene.

Puffing Billy & the Blue Dandenongs (Half-Day)
All aboard the Puffing Billy, for an exciting day full of gorgeous scenery and steam train fun! The Puffing Billy is an original steam locomotive and has all the bells and whistles of old (quite literally). This exciting and unique tour lets you experience the thrill of riding on a genuine steam train, combined with some of the most beautiful scenery within Victoria. The lush green forest contains gullies full of ferns and tall mountain ash trees, brightly coloured native birds, lounging reptiles and furry mammals. From Belgrave to Gembrook and back, you will marvel at your surroundings as you hang your legs out of the carriage, going over high bridges and breathing in the fresh, forest air.After your steam train adventure, you’ll visit Sassafras – a quaint mountain town – before returning to Melbourne.
