What to Expect
Your action-packed day begins with a pickup from your local accommodation on the Gold Coast. From there, the Canyon Flyer staff will then take you to the zipline course at Tamborine Mountain, just a short drive inland from the coast. Alternatively, you can choose to meet your group at Tamborine Mountain.

When you arrive at the Adventure Park, you'll be eager to strap on your gear and start soaring through the surrounding bushland and rainforest. But first, your professional guides will give you a safety briefing and fit you with a full-body harness and helmet.

But then finally, the adventure starts. To really kick things off, your experienced guides will take you on an off-road 4WD excursion from the check-in area to the start of your course. On this tour, every moment is intended to challenge you and get your blood pumping!

During your three-hour guided ziplining tour, you will have the opportunity to take on seven different extreme zip lines throughout the park, which cover 1.4 kilometres in total. On the Canyon Flyer tour, you will hit speeds of 70kph and heights of 70 metres above the canyon - so hold on tight and try to admire the natural beauty that surrounds you. The tour will take you across Cedar Creek Canyon and over hectares of some of the oldest rainforests in Australia.

Your two professional guides will take you through the park, providing information about the local area and assisting you to operate your ziplining equipment effectively. Tour groups are limited to 10 people to ensure an intimate experience in the wilderness.

No prior ziplining experience is required to participate in the Canyon Flyer tour. There aren't any technical components on this tour, and the guides will teach you everything you need to know. Once you tackle the first few zip lines and begin to build your skills and confidence, you can attempt more advanced techniques, like ziplining backwards or upside down. When you’re on the Canyon Flyer tour, the sky is truly the limit - so push yourself and see how far you can go!

Other Important Information
Due to the excellent climate in this area of South East Queensland, the Canyon Flyer tour runs all year round, from 9am to 5pm daily. The tour takes place in nearly all weather conditions, other than lightning strikes or high winds. In these cases, or if your tour is cancelled for any other reason, you will receive a full refund.

Kids must be seven years of age or older to take a ride on the Canyon Flyer. All participants must weigh between 40kg - 120kg and should be able to reach 160cm with their hands stretched above their heads.

If you're afraid of heights, ziplining is an easy and safe way to begin conquering it. Your guides will make you feel comfortable as you traverse the treetops and soar through the air without a care in the world.
