Even if you've never done a canyoning tour before, there's no need to worry. Our trips are intended for beginners and include guidance from experienced guides who are qualified in swift water rescue, first aid and abseil. Your guides will supply all of the necessary equipment as well. To participate, you'll need to have a moderate level of fitness and the ability to swim.
For a half-day canyoning tour, check out our Lost World Canyon trip. On this exciting excursion, you'll spend either the morning or afternoon exploring the beauty of Cradle Mountain, including one hour making your way through the cliffs and waterfalls of Lost World Canyon. The scenery is breathtaking here, and you'll have the chance to take it all in as you make your way into the canyon. Don't forget to stay on the lookout for local wildlife, including wombats!
If you'd like to spend more time canyoning, take a look at our Dove Canyon tour. You'll depart in the morning and have four hours to take on this gorgeous quartzite canyon. Your day will be action-packed from the start, including your trip down the Laundry Shoot, a 10-metre natural water slide that launches you into an open pool. This tour also includes lunch.
Our Cradle Mountain Canyon Tours run from November to March, with the Dove Canyon tour operating daily and the Lost World Canyon tour operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. At the end of your trip, you'll have the opportunity to purchase t-shirts and souvenir photos to take home.
