The 1.5 hour island tour with Jet Ski Safaris is a perfect introduction into the Gold Coast’s islands. Your tour starts with meeting the friendly guides at Jet Ski Safaris for a full safety briefing and an introduction to the 1500 cc Seadoo GTS jet skis. After testing out the jet ski and gaining your confidence, jet off into the beautiful Gold Coast waters with your Jet Ski Safaris guide. Race along the shores of South Stradbroke Island for 20km (40km return) before catching your breath with some refreshments at a tropical island bar.

The 2.5 hour ultimate jet ski safari is an 80km round trip delving into the Gold Coast mangroves. Once settled on your reliable and stable jet ski at the beginning of your trip, power past the white sandy beaches of South Stradbroke Island before veering off into the flood plains. Follow your Jet Ski Safaris guide in a circuit round wild mangroves and land on the beach for a quick swim and drink at the island pub. Throughout the ultimate jet ski safari, look out for Gold Coast landmarks and the abundant wildlife and enjoy the commentary from your Jet Ski Safaris guide.

Other Information

• Allow up to 1 hour extra time for check in, full safety briefing and your practice ride
• Maximum of 2 adults per jet ski with a combined weight of no more than 200kgs
• Please bring sunglasses, money, mobile phone, photo ID and comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting wet, such as swimwear, shorts & t-shirt, singlet or rashie
• Refreshments available to purchase at island bar (own cost)
• Lockers available to store your dry clothes during the tour
• Watertight container provided to carry your money and phone on the tour
• Minimum height restriction of 1.25 metres (usually a minimum age of 7yrs)
• Solo adults 16yrs and over can drive their own jet ski (16-18 year olds require parental consent)
• 12-15 year olds can drive a jet ski provided they are in tandem with an adult (18yrs+)
• This tour is not suitable for pregnant women
• Suitable for all levels of jet ski experience, from beginner to advanced
