Description
Your Tasmanian Seafood Seduction journey commences in the heart of Hobart's vibrant waterfront alongside the plethora of fishing boats moored at Constitution Dock. In your small group of up to 12 guests, accompanied by experienced local guides, you will cruise aboard one of three new specialised boats, purpose-built for these tours.
As your Pennicott Wilderness Journey's boat pulls away from the docks, sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Leave city life behind as you cruise down the Derwent River and into the calm channel waters that surround Bruny Island, an untouched paradise home to Tasmania's finest seafood.
Whilst cruising along Bruny Island's spectacular coast assist your guide to collect mussels, sea urchin, oysters and abalone from the clear blue waters. At the very southern point of the island pull a crayfish and even catch a fish, before the anchor is dropped in a calm, secluded bay where your guide will skilfully prepare and serve your gourmet seafood experience right on board the boat.
Your catch is part of an extensive lunch of the finest gourmet produce including abalone, crayfish, oysters, sashimi, sea urchin, salmon and mussels accompanied by local wine, beers, ciders and juices. Nowhere else in the world is there a journey quite like this and you can't get Tasmanian seafood any fresher.
The Pennicott Wilderness Journey's guides know these waters intimately and their local knowledge is second to none. Throughout the day they'll provide an entertaining insight into the surrounding wilderness and animals, while you soak up the picturesque landscapes and beautiful deserted beaches.
