Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Lunch Cruise Sydney

Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Lunch Cruise

    Everything Travel Group Review

The Tall Ship is a beautiful old vessel owned and operated by two passionate families from Sydney. Our host was a lady by the name of Frankie, ultra professional, full of great commentary about the ship and areas we were sailing through. As an optional extra you can put on a safety harness and climb the 15m mast, which I can personally recommend. The lunch was far better than I thought, on these types of trips (lunch included) you can often find an average buffet, however on this trip lunch is brought to you in plastic take away containers, fresh bread, wholesome and tasty. The bar was serving cold drinks and we even had the opportunity to take control and steer the boat. This is a really great product perfect for all types of travellers but especially for the mature traveller looking for a nice cruise around the harbor with excellent commentary.

On Dec 26th (Sydney to Hobart) what would be a good time to be on the Bounty to see the event.. I know it starts at 1 pm, but is there a special cruise on 12/26/13?

    Comments

Hi Mary Ann. There is actually a special Sydney Harbour tall ship cruise on the 26th December which includes a gourmet buffet lunch and an open bar. It departs at 11.30am and returns by 3.30pm and takes in the start of the famous Sydney to Hobart yacht race that commences at 12pm on Boxing day each year. There is currently space on this cruise however it does often book up a long way in advance. The early bird rate is $240 per adult if you book several months in advance or $290 if you book in December.

Will I get sea sick on the tall ship cruise on Sydney harbour?

    Comments

Hi David. It's very unlikely that you will get seasick on a tallship cruise on Sydney harbour as the boats are very stable and they stay inside Sydney harbour and don't go out into the open ocean. If you are really concerned about this then you can purchase inexpensive seas sick tablets from any pharmacy or drug store.
