I'm hoping to do the Skyrail trip in early October, and will then be going straight back to Cairns airport to travel back to England. Would I be able to leave suitcase/luggage safely at the Skyrail check in point.

Hi Margaret, there are lockers at Skyrail but they are pretty small and would only be big enough to fit carry on luggage in them so they wouldn't fit a full suitcase unfortunately. If you are travelling lightly then this would be ok but if you have a big suitcase or bag then unfortunately this won't work for you.
