Skydive the Beach's Sydney North Coast branch is located in Belmont, 1 hour 40 minutes’ drive from New South Wales iconic capital – the beautiful city of Sydney. The Belmont drop zone boasts a spectacular setting with views of Hunter Valley, The Lake region and looks down on the spanning coast line. With access to the beach your day skydiving on the North Coast is a truly unique experience. 

On the day of your tandem jump, you will arrive at the skydive office for a briefing before jumping into the custom skydiving aeroplane. Your qualified tandem skydive master will strap you into your equipment, attach your tandem harness and even act as your pseudo psychologist when your butterflies become a little too fluttery! When you’ve reached your desired height – up to a whopping 14,000ft – you will move towards the door, where you will… JUMP!

For a heart-thumping 60 seconds, you will freefall at speeds of up to 220km per hour! As gravity pulls you towards the ground, your brain will calculate your surroundings at an incredible speed, solidifying the details of each microsecond of your freefall into your memory banks. This is an experience you will never forget. Once the parachute opens, your adrenaline will have flooded your every cell, causing you to feel a buzzing-yet-calming high that will last for hours.

Once you’re safely back on land, your skydiving experience will be at the forefront of your mind for a long time, but you’ll want to brag to your mates, right? Luckily, Skydive Sydney North Coast will capture every moment of your dive on DVD, allowing you to show off to friends and family and relive your life-changing moment again and again. You will also receive a Jump Certificate, to commemorate your awesome achievement.

Other Information

• Please note there are no transfers available for Skydive Sydney North Coast. You must drive yourself to the dropzone
• Minimum age is 12 years
• Latest modern parachutes equipped with backup automatic parachute deployment computer
• There is a $35 APF compulsory levy (Australian Parachute Federation) payable on the day
• No child rates
• Max weight is 110kg. Please advise at the time of booking if you are over 95kg as weight surcharges apply. 95kg-104.9kg = $50 surcharge, 105kg-110kg = $75
• DVD & photos package available for purchase on the day (photos for $99, DVD for $130 or dvd and photos for $155)
• Weather dependent so we recommend booking for one of your first days in Sydney so you can reschedule if necessary or receive a full refund
