Day 1: Sounds of Silence Dinner
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to the resort (flights to arrive prior to 3.00pm, airfare not included). This evening dine under a million stars at the award-winning Sounds of Silence Dinner, then relax as a Star Talker takes you on a tour of the southern night skies (conditions permitting).
Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) & Kata Tjuṯa (the Olgas)
Start the morning bright and early and travel to the viewing platform where you will witness the magical Uluru sunrise over the Red Centre whilst enjoying a warm cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), and marvel at the panoramic views of Kata Tjuta before reaching Walpa Gorge. Take time to explore the gorge and the unique rock formations and meander the walking track that follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes.
In the afternoon, travel around the base of Uluru in the coach and learn about the sacred sites and features found at Uluru. Continue to the Kuniya Walk where you will be lead to the stunning Mutitjulu Waterhole. Take time to admire Aboriginal rock paintings and native flora. Later, explore the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where you can learn about Aboriginal culture and purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts. In the evening, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area and witness the magnificent colour changes of the beautiful Uluru sunset while enjoying canapés and a complimentary glass of wine.
