Reef Adventure Flight
Explore every facet of the paradisiacal Airlie Beach and Whitsundays as you view stunning scenery by air and delve below the depths on a snorkelling adventure. With daily departures from Airlie Beach, Air Whitsunday will take you on an amazing sightseeing tour by seaplane, before transferring you to their private semi-submersible at Hardy Reef for a two-hour underwater experience.
The seaplane tour highlights the stunning seascape of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park – a wonderland of colours, crystal clear water, interesting coral formations and maybe even a whale or two! The Hardy Reef semi-submersible – which is moored over an amazing coral suspended lagoon within the Reef Park – introduces you to a world of underwater delights as you gaze in wonder through this glass bottomed vessel. This tailor made boat also has an underwater viewing chamber, which allows you to sit and view the amazing sea life for hours on end while in dry comfort.
From the rear platform of the deck, you will have easy access to the delightfully warm Reef water, allowing you to jump in and experience the thrill of snorkelling. Regardless of your snorkelling skill level, this area is calm and perfect for everyone, so you can rest assured you will have an enjoyable experience. After your dive, why not relax on the sun deck, have a cool drink on the shade deck or simply stare in awe at the stunning expanse of the Great Barrier Reef.
Whitsunday Panorama Tour
For even more paradise, you can upgrade your tour with the amazing Whitsunday Panorama Tour. This exciting addition gives you a one-hour visit to Whitehaven Beach, which is renowned as being one of the top ten beaches in the World! While there, you can jump in the water for a swim with some of the precious wildlife – including turtles and stingrays – or explore this Island utopia from end to end. You can also enjoy a delightful picnic lunch on the beach or simply lay in the gorgeous warm sand and take in the scenery.
