Everglades Explorer Tour - Canoe & River Cruise
Description
Noosa Everglades Explorer tour
The Noosa Everglades is a gorgeous exotic wilderness area, which lies in the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park. A spectacular array of bird and wildlife makes this is one of the greatest natural wilderness areas in the world. With a variety of native landscapes including mangrove swamps, seagrass beds, mud islands and sandbanks, as well as waters that go from crystal clear to deepest black, the Everglades is an ancient place filled with magic and mystery. Your adventure begins on the Noosa River, cruising the stunning lakes and wetlands on your way to the Everglades.
Thousands of migratory and native birds cohabitate in this area, so make sure you have your camera at the ready to capture some stunning images. If you choose to do the optional 5km canoeing, you will canoe upstream through the ancient Everglades – home to in-shore dolphins, dugongs, sea turtles, and other rare and threatened species - before enjoying a relaxing morning tea at the historic Harry's Hut. If you opt for the cruise option, you will take the eco boat upstream to Harry's Hut, with time to explore this beautiful setting along the way. Whichever option you choose, at Harry's Hut you will then board the eco boat to cruise leisurely back towards Noosa via the subtropical rainforest and glistening waterways of the breathtaking Noosa River. You can then enjoy a delicious lunch back at Habitat Noosa eco camp (own cost), or simply relax and take in the views.

Hi Simon. On the Noosa Everglades canoe & river cruise you spend about an hour canoeing in the everglades. The rest of the time is spent on board the boat cruising the everglades and enjoying your aussie bbq lunch.
