Part of the Cooloola National Park, the stunning Noosa Everglades is one of Australia’s most spectacular natural wilderness areas. Its dark-watered river system is a thriving ecosystem for the plethora of wildlife species – including many endangered or endemic species – and plant life. This treasured pristine landscape – with its swamplands (known as patterned fens), mangroves, sand and mud banks as well as sea grass, all surrounded by calm, sheltered waters – offers sanctuary to migratory shorebirds, sea turtles, inshore dolphins, dugong, water rats and a variety of other mammals, reptiles insects and birds. On your Noosa Everglades Eco Safari, you will be given the opportunity to explore, photograph, swim and relax in this truly remarkable natural wonderland.

Your Journey Down The Noosa River
Cruise along the amazing Noosa River, gorgeous lakes and stunning Noosa Everglades in comfort, aboard a purpose built vessel. Your morning tea will be served at the historic Harry's Hut – the hut remains as a reminder of early timber cutting days. Afterwards, you are free to explore, go for a swim, relax and admire the surrounds or take some memorable photographs. back at the Habitat Noosa Everglades Eco Camp, you will enjoy a delicious lunch in the award winning Coothara Bar & Bistro, which overlooks the lake & national park. 

The Pristine Wilderness
The amazing Noosa River is home to over 44% of all Australia's bird species, 700 other native animals and a whopping 1,365 species of plants. The Noosa River is unique in that it is Australia’s only river system that has its entire upper catchment protected as part of a National Park, allowing you to experience and photograph a truly natural eco-environment. This area is truly magnificent and well worth a visit.
