Perth Kayaking Tour - Swan River
Description
Explore the beauty of Perth from every angle. These amazing guided kayaking tours are the perfect way to experience Western Australia’s capital, and will leave you with a new perspective on this gorgeous city. There are two unique and spectacular tours to choose from – one has you discovering the historic estuaries of the South Perth shoreline, while the other has you paddling through South Perth’s open urban waterways, keeping an eye out for the dolphins who frequent the area.
City Sunset Tour
The City Sunset tour allows you to enjoy two full hours of glorious evening, exploring the historic Swan estuary along the shoreline of South Perth. The extraordinary views of the sparkling city lights at dusk will inspire you, while the reflections of the sunset over the water will set the scene for an absolutely amazing tour.
Before you set off on your adventure, you’ll be taught some basic techniques and manoeuvres to safely paddle your way across the gentle waterways. The kayaks themselves are perfect for beginners and experts alike. These high quality water vessels will have you in control and safe throughout your journey.
The view from the water immerses you in a magical wonderland, filled with birds, fish and the awe inspiring dolphin – all of which are feeding while the sun sets and kisses the water’s edge with its blissful serenity. As the night draws in, the city comes to life. The nightlights sparkle over the water like a thousand fireflies, shimmering through the glassy surface! You’ll be stunned by nature’s glory and relaxed by the beauty of this spectacular landscape. During this tour, you senses will dance, and the unforgettable views of South Perth will stay with you for many years to come.
East Perth Tour
This tour gives you an alternate view of the stunning city of Perth. As you enjoy paddling within the surrounding waterways, the scenic Burswood Park, Heirisson Island and Claisebrook Cove take on a differing perspective from the shoreline.
As you’re taken along on this spectacular water adventure, you can absorb some of the knowledge the crew has to offer, such as the social and natural history of this part of the city. While you’re paddling through the prosperous metropolitan region, keep your eyes on the water, as dolphins are often fishing in this area – adding extra excitement to an already magical journey.
After you’ve experienced your wonderful 1.5 hour journey, enjoy a delicious coffee at ‘the Partisan’, which overlooks the Claisebrook Cove.
