Description
If you are looking for a unique Ecotourism tour that includes some of Australia’s most fascinating flora and fauna, the Springbrook National Park – which is located in the magical Gold Coast region – has you covered. The world-renowned Glow Worm Caves are set within the gorgeous National Park and provide a stunning adventure for all the family. Take in this marvellous twilight rainforest walk and come face to face with thousands of mesmerising glow worms as they hang about on the ceilings, rocky overhangs and earth banks of the arched cave. This beautiful cavern features spectacular cascading waterfalls and stunning cave features, which enhances the magic of the twinkling blue-green glow worms.
The local eco-guides lead small groups of up to ten people through the park – making this a perfect option for families or team-building events – and you and your group will be able to discover the secrets of this beautiful World Heritage listed site.
As you are guided through this beautiful area, gain the knowledge surrounding the history, culture and lifestyle of the original landowners and their dealings with this very special place. If the weather permits, you'll also get to enjoy a stargazing session, learning about some of the constellations that have guided mankind for millennia!
The Springbrook National Park is set in a majestic mountainous region behind the iconic Gold Coast city, and lies in a sub-tropical climate, making it a haven for a large variety of native flora and fauna; including the largest concentration of Australian glow worms.
Known for its diversity, this region is inhabited by over one hundred species of our feathered friends alone, which includes the rare and elusive Albert Lyrebird and the Wompoo Pigeon. An amazing 30% of Australian mammals have been recorded in and around this stunning area. Because of the diverse range of flora and fauna, the region is World Heritage listed - and participants will receive a World Heritage visitation certificate!
To cap off your evening you will visit Goomoolahra Falls and Canyon Lookout with spectacular views towards the Surfers Paradise Night Skyline!
