    Everything Travel Group Review

If you’re looking for adrenaline then jump out of your seat and experience this amazing Bungy Site by the legend AJ Hackett. The site is located right bang smack in world heritage rainforest with a babbling brook and native animals everywhere. It’s been operating in Cairns for more than 20 years and there are 16 different ways to jump. Over the last 4 years I have done most of the 16 jump styles, but by far my favourite has to be running off the roof in a full body harness – insane!

Suggestions: There’s a great bar, sun beds, and free return transport from the city and most accommodation, so spend at least a couple of hours on site or even half a day. On Sundays they have live music, jumping castle for the kids and BBQ food from 1-5pm, which I have found myself at a number of times. Look out for some of their legendary crew Luke, Boris and Coral who always put on a great show.

Latest Questions about Bungy - Skypark By AJ Hackett Bungy (Cairns)

Can we do bungee jumping the very next day after Scuba diving?

    Comments

Hiya Rajesh, I hope you're well. Thanks so much for your questions about the Bungy Jump at the Skypark Cairns, unfortunately, you're not able to jump the very next day after scuba diving, I would allow 24- 48hrs in between these activities to ensure there will be no issues

    G'day,

After a wedding present gift voucher and just wondering if i could get a 2yr validation as they are travelling the country then

    cheers

    Comments

Thank you so much for your enquiry.  Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. However, they only have to redeem the voucher by the expiry date, the actual travel dates can be beyond the expiration date. Of course, if for any reason (ongoing border closures etc.) they are unable to travel, then we are happy to look into a gift voucher extension for them.

Can people still Bunjee Jump if there is a lot of rain? (Tuesday January 29th 2019)

    Comments

Come rain or shine you are still guaranteed a great time Bungying. You certainly can still Bungy Jump in the rain, however of course if the weather conditions get hazardous the operators will cancel the jump. If you book any activities via our website and they are cancelled for any reason and you are unable to reschedule then you will get a full refund from us. You just need to email or call us regarding your cancellation and we will refund the money back onto the credit card that was used to make the booking.

Are you guys open between the 26th december and the 30th december?

    Comments

Yes, the Cairns bungy is in full swing all through the summer with the exception of Christmas day. It is a very busy time of the year so we do recommend booking in advance.

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to do a joint bunny jump, so that two of you are doing it at once?

    Thanks.

    Comments

Hi Pip, yes you certainly can do the Cairns bungy as a tandem jump. The price is still $169 per person and you just need to let the bungy crew know on the day that you are wanting to do a tandem jump.

is there an age limit on how old you have to be to go bungy jumping?

    Comments

Hi Tyler. The minimum age to bungy jump in Cairns is 10 years old. If you are under 18 years old though you will require a parent or guardian to sign a waiver when you check in for your bungy on the day. If you don't have anyone over 18 years old travelling with you then you will need written consent from your parents.

Are 9,11,1 and 3 the only times you can you a jump or can you come at other times? Do I need to book as with travelling it's a bit hard to be on a strict time table.

    Comments

Hi Louise. The Cairns bungy site is located 20 minutes north of Cairns township so if you require transfers from Cairns then 9, 11, 1 & 3pm are the only times you can book. The round trip takes about 2 hours including the bungy and return transfers from Cairns. If you have your own car then you can drive yourself out to the site but we still recommend booking in advance as there are often tour groups that jump and block out several hours at a time. I'd recommend booking for a date and time and if you need to change that you can do so as long as you give us at least 48 hours notice.

How are you connected to the Bungy?

    Comments

Hi Jason, you will always have 2 points of contact for extra safety when jumping with Aj Hackett Cairns. You will have a waist harness on as well as a foot tie around your ankles.

Do I need to book the Bungy or can I just turn up on the day?

    Comments

Hi Sophia, yes booking is definitely recommended as the bungy in Cairns is very popular and does book out. Courtesy transfers are also offered from Cairns and Northern Beaches and if you are requiring transfers then these must be booked.

Are spectators allowed to come with me and if so how many can come?

Comment by: Chantelle Clarke on 24th Aug 12 at 18:22

Hi Chantelle, yes spectators certainly are allowed to come and watch you do the Cairns Bungy. If you are self driving you can bring as many as you can want. If taking the courtesy shuttle then one spectator is permitted per every paying customer. If there is extra room on the shuttle on the day then more are welcome.

Does your head get dunked in water with this bungy jump?

Comment by: Brittany Matthews on 12th Dec 12 at 17:50

Hi Brittany, you can choose if you would like to touch the water or not when you do the Cairns Bungy. The jump masters will ask if you want to or not at the time of your jump.

Does AJ Hackett still offer unlimited Bungy Jumping as an option?

    Comments

    Hi Rex,

AJ Hackett does offer an unlimited package it is called the big day out and includes a minimum of 3 bungy jumps (more if you can handle the walk up the tower), a Minjin Jungle Swing, photos and lunch. Great day out esp as they have the coolest site to hang out at in the rainforest, a bar with cold drinks, great music, pool style chairs and free transfers to and from town!

    Thanks!

    Comments

Hi Kasia. If you are travelling to Cairns and you wish to do the Rainforest bungy then you can book the AJ Hackett bungy jump on its own, or you can book the bungy jump and the Minjin Jungle Swing, or just the Minjin Jungle Swing, or you can book the Big Day Out Package which includes 1 Swing and as many bungy jumps as you like along with photos and lunch. All options include comlimentary return Cairns accommodation transfers or you are welcome to drive out to the bungy site yourselves.

Do you offer a Bungy & Swing Combo? My friend said they brought a combo?

    Comments

Hi Lee. Yes you can absolutely do both the AJ Hackett Bungy and Minjin Jungle Swing in Cairns. It's cheaper to book the combo than paying separately for each. Click on the 'Prices" tab and you'll see the 3rd price down is the Bungy & Swing Combo for $194.
