The Gold Coast region boasts a large variety of pelagic surface fish whilst bottom dwelling reef fish abound in the semi tropical waters. Species include Snapper, Pearl perch, Jewfish mulloway, Marlin, Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia, Sailfish, Tuna and many more. If you are lucky, watch the Humpback whales migrating during the winter months, with whale sightings on almost every tour during this period. Dolphins, sharks, and turtles are regularly encountered on a tour with True Blue Fishing Charters and for the bird lovers among you, there is plenty to see too. Marine birdlife includes Gulls, Terns, cormorants, Sea eagles and the mighty Albatross.

A half day reef and game charter targets Snapper, Jewfish, Tuskfish, Cobia, Kingfish Sampson, Mackerel and many more. True Blue Fishing Charter's equipment is nothing but the best, using high quality Penn Reef Fishing rods and reels.

With two boats, the MV 'Fat Hooker' and MV 'Seaquest', True Blue Fishing Charters is sure to suit your group. Big boat 'Fat Hooker' is one of the biggest and best charter boats operating on the Gold Coast. 'Fat Hooker' is a 12 metre Steber craft boat powered by 425hp Cummins diesel, extremely economical and reliable. With a large fishing platform, the 'Fat Hooker' has the capacity to handle groups of up to 18 passengers.

The other deep sea vessel "Seaquest" is an 11 metre boat boasting a cruising speed of over 20 knots, we get to the hot spots quickly. The vessel is powered by a 3208 turbo charged V8 Caterpillar diesel, being extremely reliable and fuel efficient. Go further, faster, giving you more fishing time with less travel time. With only 12 guests (max) and 2 crew, enjoy an uncrowded fishing experience.
