It doesn’t matter if you’ve never even seen a kayak before, the friendly and experienced team at Riverlife are dedicated to ensuring you have a fun, safe and comfortable adventure, no matter what your age (eight and up) or ability.

The first step to your adventure is a safety briefing and training session, which will allow you to stay safe in the water and master the skills you need to traverse the Brisbane River.

Departing from Kangaroo Cliffs, you will paddle along this magnificent Australian waterway, giving you the chance to see some of the best landmarks and most beautiful scenery in Brisbane City. Depending on the tide, you may see the stunning Brisbane Botanical Gardens, South Bank Parklands, the Maritime Museum and even go the extra mile to see the impressive Storey Bridge and Mowbray Park.

With guidance and supervision from your guide, you can have some fun on the water – kayak style. Why not try standing up and using your kayak as a gondola? How about some kayak surfing, soccer or basketball? Does a kayak conga line sound like fun? There are many adventurous ways to play in a kayak and you may even get inspired to create your own creative kayak manoeuvre!
