Day 1: Darwin - Kakadu National Park
This first day of your two day Kakadu and Arnhem Land adventure will begin as you drive across the Adelaide River and Marraki Plains into Kakadu National Park. Kakadu covers 20,000 square kilometres of varying landscape and is abundant with wildlife. Your first stop will be at Nourlangie where you will be shown the ancient Aboriginal rock art. Following lunch, enjoy a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Keep an eye out for saltwater crocodiles and the immense range of colourful birdlife. Admire the swamp paperbark and water lilies. Finish off with a visit to Warradjan Cultural Centre and see the informative illustrations setting out the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu.
