This 3 day 4WD adventure allows you to get behind the wheel and experience the incredible lakes, rainforests, and creeks that make up this beautiful Island. In the evening you retreat to your private campsite to enjoy dinner together, with drinks by the fire with your fellow Islanders!

Itinerary - Day One

Your day will start with a morning brief at Freedom Hostel where you will discuss packing cars, the safety of the Island, checking equipment, and a driver briefing. Then it's time to hit the road and depart for Fraser Island! It is a short drive to the ferry port and a 10-minute barge crossing before you arrive on the world's largest sand island. The first section of your trip will be on Fraser Island's very own highway, 75 Mile Beach, which will bring you to Eurong resort. Here you can purchase a coffee or a snack (own cost) for those who didn't find time for breakfast before starting the trip. Then it's off to the famous and incredibly picturesque Lake Mckenzie, where you will have some quality time to splash in the amazingly clear waters and enjoy lunch. As the afternoon comes to an end, you will drive up the beach to the campsite where you will prepare dinner and enjoy some drinks with your new found friends.

Itinerary - Day Two

Start the day with a quick breakfast before beginning a jam-packed day on Fraser Island. You will head off to Eli Creek for a relaxing swim or a float downstream in an inflatable donut. Shortly after you will stop at the Maheno Shipwreck to learn about this famous Fraser Island icon and grab some snaps. The next stop is Fraser Islands' highest point, Indian Head. This is a fabulous view out to sea where you may be lucky enough to spot whales and sharks in the ocean. You will then spend the afternoon at the Champagne Pools before heading back to camp to dry off and sit in front of the fire.

Itinerary - Day Three

You shall fill the stomach and then assist in cleaning the camp ready for the next lucky campers. Lake Wabby is the final stop on this 4WD adventure where you will take a stroll through the sand dunes to enjoy this tropical paradise. After lunch, you'll select your final car-aoke song and take in your last glimpses of this stunning Island as you start to head back to Rainbow Beach.

Other Information

• Guests are required to attend a 5 pm safety briefing the day before departure as Dingos Bar, if you are unable to attend this please highlight this when booking as we will require more information from you
• Please highlight if you want to be in the same car as friends when booking as this is arranged the day before departure
• No refunds if cancelled within 7 days of tour departure
• A smaller bag for 3 days/2 nights of clothing, free luggage storage available at Freedom Rainbow Hostel
• Please bring sunscreen, insect repellent, BYO alcohol, swimmer and towel, camera, and $2 coins for the Island showers
• If your trip falls on a public holiday, an additional $40 public holiday service charge may be required
• Sleeping bags can be hired for $15
• $20 cash insurance to be paid by everybody on arrival
