My friend and I are really keen to do the Lost World Canyoning trip in the Cradle Mountains, but we have never rock climbed or abseiled before. Do we need prior experience before doing this trip?

Hi Karen, you do not need any abseiling or rock climbing experience to do the Lost World Canyon trip. All the guides are fully qualified and have a great deal of experience and knowledge. They will guide you through every aspect of the trip and for the more adventerous they even have extra optional rock jumps. Most people that do this canyon trip in the Cradle mountains do not have any abseiling or rock climbing experience.
