BridgeClimb - Sydney Harbour Bridge Sydney

Latest Questions about BridgeClimb - Sydney Harbour Bridge (Sydney)

Hi I am very interested in doing this climb but I would not be overly fit but would be ok. I was just wondering the pace they climb and do they stop regularly. I am Irish and I'm not sure how I would handle it in the heat. I'd love some advice before I book it. I would want to be doing it on the 16th of September proble at night cause it be cooler.

Hi Marie. The night Sydney Harbour Bridge climb is fantastic and allows you to catch the sun before it goes down so you can see Sydney by day but also by night which is a nice contrast. The night climb is also quite a bit cheaper than the Twilight climb and it's definitely cooler when the sun goes down so you won't have any worries in regards to over heating. In fact, in September it can still get down to 10 or so degrees Celsius at night so wear some warmer layers (a fleece is also provided for all climbers). As far as fitness goes, as long as you can easily walk the equivalent of a few kilometers and are able to climb stairs then you'll be fine. There are plenty of stops a long the way when the tour guide takes photos and talks about the views and the history and there are several opportunities to stop in the one spot for 5 or 10 minutes and just enjoy the spectacular scenery.

The climbs do get booked up quite a long way in advance so I would recommend booking via our site sooner rather than later.
