Description
Experience the magic of the Blue Mountains, on this full-day tour of its breathtaking peaks. Meet the tour in the busy city centre of Sydney, and travel by coach to the spectacular World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. The Blue Mountains is part of the mountainous area of the Great Dividing Range, which runs from north to south, forming a natural division between the coast and the country. To begin with you will view the Three Sisters and far out over the Jamison Valley
Visit Scenic World, where the name says it all! Here you can marvel at the views out over the incredibly picturesque Blue Mountains. You will take the Scenic Cableway and Scenic Skyway, the steepest scenic railway in the world. The next stop is Echo Point, where you will see the famous rock formation the Three Sisters.
Board the coach again, sit back, and relax as your driver guides the bus along Cliff Drive, which boasts amazing views over the stunning Megalong Valley. The tour stops for you to stretch your legs with a stroll of the streets of Leura, a quaint mountain village where you can explore its shops and cafes.
Next stop is at a native wildlife park where you can get up close and personal to the native Australian animals at this fun wildlife park! You can hand feed the kangaroos, stand near an emu (but don’t get too close!), marvel at the colours and sounds of the birds in the rainforest aviaries and see fierce saltwater crocodiles. Enter the koala enclosure and observe these sleepy, gorgeous animals in their natural habitat – snoozing in eucalyptus trees.
The final part of the tour is a scenic cruise on the Parramatta River. Start at Homebush Bay and enjoy the informative commentary as you travel across the Sydney Harbour and finally to Circular Quay, where the tour ends.
